Case Study: Crunch Fitness
The Challenge
Crunch Fitness owns and operates gyms throughout the United States. Sidian Consulting was hired to add new and make changes to existing functionality on the Crunch Corporate Services customer portal to make the sign-up and billing processes easier for corporate clients.
The Solution
Sidian Consulting re-wrote and streamlined the corporate membership signup process to eliminate unnecessary and confusing steps. New features were added such as:
- Billing Rate Types that allow the specification of how companies are billed for different membership types, and whether the billing deductions are from payroll or credit cards.
- Custom billing rates for each company based on how each company is billed. Rates can be specified based on payroll deductions or monthly credit card billing for full-time, spouse/partner and part-time employee club memberships.
- Allow administrators to create custom electronic contracts per company for Paid in Full, Monthly, and Split Pay options which will be displayed and have to be agreed to when new members sign up for services.
- Allow administrators to set company-specific FAQs and Deduction Memos.
The Results
The existing application is now more strictly-tailored to the needs of each company and the billing requirements for each company. Sidian Consulting also provides ongoing support for the application and best practices consulting for Crunch’s application and database server setups.
